Indications
have emerged to the effect that the report of the General Overseer of the
Synagogue church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua relocating his
ministry to Israel may be a ruse after all.
Prophet
Joshua had registered during ministration in church last Sunday that his
Ministry is the most persecuted in Africa hence his resolve to live a
lonely life just as he indicated that the Ministry may move to Israel where he
has been offered incentives to warrant his relocation to the foreign country.
According to the
Prophet, his Ministry is the most persecuted ministry in the world,
adding that those persecuting his Ministry are his fellow Africans.
He said his
persecution is the reason for his solitary life.
“That is why I
choose to live a lonely life. If you want to see me, come to this church. I
don’t go out. It has not been easy – because I don’t know who is a friend or
who is an enemy
“If you learn
TB Joshua is not around, I am in a revival. I live in the church here. I don’t
have a house outside.” “What happened to me from the beginning of my ministry
is enough to chase me out of this country.
“But I am still in
your midst. Upon the persecution and hatred, I decided to follow the path of
love. You show hatred; I show love. “When I go for a revival, you will see the
stadium full but I am not carried away by that. I leave where I’m celebrated to
live where I’m persecuted"
He announced to
the congregation that the Israeli government has offered the church a
space in the Middle East country where he can operate his Ministry from.
Contrary to report
that followed the announcement however, that the Synagogue Church of All
Nations would be moving to Israel, The Rhema News reliably
gathered that the Church may not be moved out Nigeria after all.
According to a very
close source to the cleric, no decision has been taken concerning the
reported movement of the Ministry to Israel.
According to
the source, it is true Prophet Joshua got overtures to relocate to
Israel," but nothing has been concluded".
Speaking further, the
source said though” the Prophet was actually considering the move,
but contrary to what people are saying, nothing has been concluded.
"He said the
people of his continent are not receptive to him, that has been a source of concern
though, but what I can tell you authoritatively is that, in the immediate, the
Prophet is only planning a crusade in Israel for the world to see how
popular he is outside of Nigeria. But that the church is moving is out of it
for now" our source said.
Giving more insight
into the relocation talk, the source offered that the idea was dropped as soon as
it was mooted sometime back because the man of God registered his worry about
what would become of those surviving on the church in Lagos and those whose
businesses revolve around the operation of the local Assembly.
According to the
source who would not want his name mentioned, the Prophet is considering
what the people who had built businesses around the church would resort
to should the church be moved out of Lagos.
"He is
considering the hoteliers, the cab drivers and the revenue being generated for
the country in term of Tourism through the location and activities of the
church in Lagos."
Insisting that these
consideration have prevented the Prophet from taking a decision, our source
submitted however that the church has been praying for wisdom for the man of
God in taking a proper decision.
"We keep praying
for him, he has been given a hall closest to the Sea of Galilee in Israel
and a building project has commenced on his behalf at the same location.
"He is thinking
seriously and waiting for the Holy Spirit guidance" the source
affirm.
