Nugget For Today : Nowhere in the New Testament did Jesus institute any kind of fast.In His commands to His disciples, Jesus never enjoined any fast to be kept.Paul said he fasted , but in all his letters to the church, starting with Romans, there is not a single reference telling the church to fast.We are encouraged to pray, but in connection with demon activity, healing or anything else, we are not told to fast.Fasting, then, must not be as important as some people would lead you to believe. There would have to be some kind of instruction for the church if it were. There are instructions on the gifts of the spirit, praying and giving, but none on fasting.-Kenneth E Hagin

The Rev' Tim Omotosho led
South Africa based Jesus Dominion International church has
risen in defense of its founder, following his ongoing trial over sex
related allegation, describing his travail as part of South
Africans grand design against the Church and successful Nigerians
resident in the country.

UNCOVERED! The Grand Plot Against Adeboye, Oyedepo, Joda, Others ..."Why We Are After Them"
A gathering storm
against the dominance of fathers of the Christian faith in the country like has
been in covered.
There is a
built up anger in the church against many fathers of the faith, among them,
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo and Rev Tunde Joda , hence the
plot by the younger generation of preachers and church
administrators in the country for a systematic upstage.
In this piece, Femi Adepoju revealed how those behind the plot expressed their grievance, "we are angry with them on how they are managing their
successes.
Bishop David Oyedepo |
"They have
built schools with tithes and offerings that came to them through the grace of
God upon them. They run ministries that do not give opportunity for the
Holy Ghost to raise new generation of leaders. They are the "holy
ghost" of their ministries. They tell you what to do in every location.
What they feed their sheep in Lagos is what they sent to you to feed your
sheep in Jos"
According
to one of the aggrieved church operators who spoke with TRN in confidence, the
character of many of the fathers of faith is based on the fact that they don't
trust the new generation operators.

Prophet
Kiishi Adejuwon of the Wisdom Restoration Ministries(WRM) has charged
Single ladies aspiring to enjoy matrimony later in life to be smart for
as long as they maintain their Single status.

of men who wants to take advantage of their need of a husband to exploit
and pitch them against the holy spirit.

be wary of men who woo them yesterday and wants to drop their pants
today.
The

today, he is not wooing you, he is calling you a whore. It does not
matter whether he is Ramson Noah or Denzel Washington".
According to him " a man that really loves you wants to see your focus first not your laps.
"You
are not the right girl for every man and every man isn't the right
man for you. If you are the right girl and you find the wrong man, u
too has become the wrong girl"
Stressing further, he said the Singles focus should be their attraction and not 'finding'.
" If a man woo you yesterday and your carriage and focus cannot upturn his whorich mindset, girl, you are already in trouble.

The Promise of Divine Protection
THE
Israelites were in danger as they entered the region of Sinai early in
1513 B.C.E. A fear-inspiring trek lay before them, a journey through a “vast
and terrible wilderness infested with poisonous snakes and scorpions.” (Deuteronomy 8:15) They also faced the
threat of attack by hostile nations. God whose name is Jehovah had brought his
people into this situation. As their God, would he be able to protect them?
God’s
words were most reassuring, Exodus 19:4 says “Ye have seen what I did onto
the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagle’s wings, and brought you unto myself”.
God reminded his people that he had delivered them from the Egyptians, using
eagles, as it were, to carry them to safety. But there are other reasons why
“wings of eagles” fittingly illustrate divine protection.
Why
do “wings of eagles” fittingly illustrate divine protection?
The
eagle uses its broad, strong wings for more than just soaring aloft. In the
heat of the day, a mother eagle will arch her wings—which may span over seven
feet (2 m)—to form a protective umbrella, shielding her tender nestlings
from the scorching sun. At other times, she wraps her wings around her
offspring to protect them from the cold wind. Just as the eagle safeguards its
young, so God’s had shielded and protected the fledgling nation of Israel. Now
in the wilderness, his people would continue to find refuge in the shadow of
his mighty wings as long as they remained faithful. But can we today rightly
expect God’s protection?
